Yamaha DTXpress IV Special
For almost five years, the Yamaha DTXPRESS series electronic drum kits have
set the standard in performance and value for the professional and amateur
drummer. With an emphasis on improved sound, natural feel and user-friendliness,
Yamaha Drums introduces two new models -- the DTXPRESS IV and DTXPRESS IV
SPECIAL.
When Yamaha constructs an electronic drum set they embrace technology from their
digital musical instrument divisions and combine it with know-how from their
esteemed acoustic drum makers. Unbelievably, Yamaha is the only acoustic drum
company that makes electronic drums, providing a unique understanding of today's
drummer's needs.
As part of the extensive design process, they call upon their roster of top drum
artists to help shape, tweak and fine-tune the instrument. The result is a set
with a brain incorporating sheer electronic wizadry and a soul that embodies
living and breathing artist input worldwide. If you're serious about your
music... its time you get acquainted with e-drums made by Acoustic and Digital
innovators.

DTXPRESS IV also allows players to play along with an external audio source in
complete privacy using headphones. Both DTXPRESS models include a MIDI out
connection for passing trigger events to external sound generators, PC's or Mac
computers.
